Description: In this sample of students’ grade book, I highlight, in red color, the examples of how their grades were improved from the beginning to the end of the semester through their writing of Reading Responses (RR1, RR2, and others). For instance, regarding two students in the class RELS-2360, Introduction to Buddhism, Fall 2021, they got lower grades for their first reading response because they have grammatical errors, and insufficient in-text citations and a list of bibliographical references. However, after learning those mistakes, they received good grades in most of their reading responses throughout the semester (please see Appendix 13, samples of a student’s progress).
